The Rural Health Representative Group within the Australian Medical Students’ Association advocates for medical students interested in rural and remote health. It promotes rural placements, supports workforce distribution initiatives, and provides opportunities for leadership and collaboration on issues impacting rural communities.

Australian Medical Students Association - AMSA Queer

AMSA Queer is dedicated to improving healthcare accessibility for Queer medical students and communities. Through the development of educational resources and webinars, the group equips future doctors with the knowledge and skills to provide inclusive care to Queer patients. AMSA Queer also oversees the AMSA Queer Network, the largest community of Queer medical students in Australia offering connection, advocacy, and peer support.

The private AMSA Queer Leaders Facebook group provides a safe and supportive space for Queer-identifying students to build community, share experiences, and engage in meaningful dialogue.
